Eyesore Video specializes in filming underground music and DIY culture. Our video projects bristle alive with the energy of the bands and people that populate the counterculture. Eyesore tore into existence with the release of Chronic Effort Fanzine #1 on DVD, originally an '80's print 'zine, on Halloween 2006. Within a year Eyesore released the infamous Asheville documentary Mountain Punks Fight Dirty, 14 Bands At El Nuevo. With insane projects on the table Eyesore plans to keep rippin’ it up in the days to come.
Eyesore Video produces film content that embraces DIY culture and the latest guerrilla film making tactics. Eyesore has evolved from raw talent into a digital video production team that specializes in music cinema photography and creative content.
All of our current projects to date are filmed exclusively in Asheville, NC. Whenever possible Eyesore Video collaborates with and features local musicians and artists. We believe that community focused film projects foster the growth of the Asheville arts scene.
